Etobicoke’s Mimico neighbourhood is one of several areas of Toronto set to be transformed by high-density development in the coming years.

Located south of the Gardiner Expressway in close proximity to Lake Ontario and serviced by Mimico GO Station, the area is one of several Protected Major Transit Station Areas (MTSA) in the city. Over the last several years, a number of transit oriented developments have been proposed in the immediate area, including more than 7,800 residential units.
