Construction continues advance at The Pemberton, a two-tower residential development rising in Toronto’s Yorkville neighbourhood.
Developed by Pemberton Developments and designed by architects—Alliance, the project occupies the block bounded by Yorkville Avenue to the north and Cumberland Avenue to the south, just west of Bay Street.
Construction on the project began in 2023 beginning with excavation and forming of the towers basement, podium, and parking levels.
As of July 2026, both towers have now surpassed the 32 storeys and are continuing their climb toward 44 and 68 storeys, at heights of 142 metres and 215 metres respectively.
Meanwhile, curtain wall, balcony and facade installation is progressing across the towers lower floors.
The project is the latest in the ongoing transformation of Yorkville, with The Pemberton joining a growing number of residential towers that have been completed in the last decade.
Upon completion, The Pemberton will contain retail space at grade and a total of 1,138 residential units.
