Gairloch Developments and Fairway Developments have submitted plans to for a two-tower residential development south of Davisville Station in Midtown Toronto. Located at 59-81 Lawton Boulevard, the site currently consists of 12 low-rise residential buildings, including 11 single-detached homes and one duplex, which would be demolished.
Designed by architects—Alliance, the project features two towers, rising 38 and 43 storeys, with a total of 706 residential units. The development would include four levels of underground parking, providing 266 vehicle parking spaces, along with 788 bicycle parking spaces. The proposal also includes a number of public realm enhancements, including 3,799-square-foot public park — representing roughly 10 percent of the projects total site area.
Located within walking distance of St Clair and Davisville subway stations and within two Major Transit Station Areas (MTSA’s), the proposed project aligns with the Province's broader strategy of increasing residential density around major transit hubs.
The proposed development at 59-81 Lawton Boulevard is the latest in a wave of high-rise projects reshaping Midtown Toronto, as intensification continues to make its way along the Yonge Street corridor.
