A new application has surfaced for the latest phase of Concord Park Place in North York’s Bayview Village neighbourhood.
Located at 1001 Sheppard Avenue East, the site is positioned in close proximity to Bessarion Subway Station and immediately next to the recently completed Ethennonnhawahstihnen Community Centre and public library.
Designed by DIALOG, plans call for two 36 and 46-storey towers atop a shared mixed-use podium that would contain retail units along with a new Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) elementary school. A new public street is also planned north of the site, that will connect Ethennonnhawahstihnen Lane with Billes Heights.
In total, the project would contain 860 residential units.
Concord Park Place is the second largest master-planned community in Toronto, behind Concord CityPlace, and encompasses a large 45-acre site. Several phases of the project have been completed over the last decade, with additional phases currently in development, including King’s Landing (currently under construction).
