Construction advances at Concord Sky, Toronto’s next supertall skyscraper at Yonge and Gerrard, with the 85-storey mixed-use condominium tower steadily rising from the southeast corner of the intersection.

Construction originally began in 2019 under previous developer Cresford Properties, before the project transitioned to Concord Adex. In the years since, steady progress has carried the building beyond its restored heritage podium, with the tower beginning to make its mark on the skyline.

Designed by New York–based architecture firm Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF), the tower will be distinguished by its tapering, sail-like profile, an elegant form that narrows as it rises.

As of February 2026, construction approaches the 25-storey mark, with façade installation now advancing across the podium levels. With crews forming the towers residential levels, construction progress is expected to accelerate over the coming months.

Once completed, Concord Sky will rise 300 metres in height, positioning it as Toronto’s third supertall skyscraper. The development will also introduce more than 1,400 residential units, making it one of the largest residential buildings in the city.
