Construction is steadily advancing on SkyTower, set to become Canada’s tallest skyscraper.

Designed by Hariri Pontarini Architects, the 105-storey supertall is the second, and tallest phase in Pinnacle International’s masterplanned One Yonge community. The development also includes the 65-storey Prestige — completed in 2023.

Construction on SkyTower began in the fall of 2020, beginning with excavation and work on the buildings below-grade levels. The recent completion of the podium and lower tower floors has accelerated the building’s vertical progress, reaching past the 32nd floor at the time of writing.

Other notable changes include the start of the installation of curtain wall glazing on the residential levels.
