Things are progressing quickly at Almadev’s 15-acre master-planned community, LSQ, located at Victoria Park and Sheppard Avenue East in North York.

Following the successful launch of the community’s first phase LSQ1 earlier this year, Almadev is moving forward with the project’s second phase named LSQ2.

Our team at Almadev is deeply humbled by the positive response and the shared belief in our vision. This area of North York offers an incredible amount of untapped potential, and as the leading master-planned community taking shape in this area, we recognize the need to contribute to the growth of the area and bring needed housing options and diverse uses that will cater to present and future needs,” says Rafael Lazer, CEO of Almadev.

LSQ — short for Lansing Square — is located in the Consumer Road Business Park neighbourhood, just east of Highway 404. The area supports an impressive workforce of nearly 20,000 workers, one of city’s largest employment hubs outside of Downtown Toronto.

Rising 30-storeys, LSQ2 is designed by Wallman Architects, with interiors helmed by Truong Ly Design. At grade, the building will feature a retail space and outdoor courtyard that connects the two buildings, leading directly to the community’s 1.2-acre public park.

LSQ2 is a beautiful continuation of our design journey with Almadev’s LSQ master-planned community. LSQ2 and LSQ1 are both aligned under the same vision, setting the architectural standard for the entire community.  With a shared commitment to creating visually-captivating and functional living spaces, we’ve strived to craft buildings that not only complement its surroundings but enhance it,says Rod Pell, Architect at Wallman Architects.

Residents of LSQ2 will have access to several amenities including dedicated children’s play areas, a games room, relaxing sauna and steam facilities, an indoor-outdoor fitness area, inviting indoor and outdoor lounges and party areas, a BBQ area, an elegant dining room, a co-working lounge, a recording/podcast studio, a pet wash station and a media room and sports lounge. Additional offerings will include mail and parcel storage, lockers, and dedicated concierge services.

Upon completion, the LSQ community will contain over 1,600 residences across 9 buildings, including 160 affordable rental units, 489,000 sq. ft of commercial space, and 100,000 sq. ft. of parkland, retail, and social space.
