80-Storey Tower Proposed Near Church and Adelaide

Goband Development Ltd have submitted a proposal for an 80-storey mixed-use tower at 23 Toronto Street in Downtown Toronto. The site, located just west of the Church and Adelaide intersection, is currently occupied by a number of heritage buildings at 57 and 55 Adelaide St E and at 25, 17-19 Toronto Street, which are planned to be retained and incorporated into the development.

The tower, designed by SvN would contain 816 new residential units, commercial, and retail spaces, rising to a height of 258 metres.

23 Toronto Street rises immediately north of a 53-storey proposal at 15 Toronto Street, first unveiled in Fall 2022. The proposal joins a number of neighbouring developments, set to add increased height and density to areas immediately east of Toronto’s Financial District.
