Osmington Gerofsky Development Corp has submitted plans for a new residential tower just south of the Bayview and Sheppard intersection in North York.

Located at 2810 Bayview Avenue, the site is currently occupied by several two-storey detached houses. Redevelopment plans for the site date back to 2019, under a previous developer, for a 7-storey building with 53 residential units.

A revised proposal, designed by Wallman Architects, calls for a 42-storey residential tower atop a 6-storey podium, and would contain a total of 539 residential units. This significant increase in height follows the designation of the area surrounding Bayview Subway Station as a Major Transit Station Area (MTSA).

This development proposal is one of several new towers set to transformation the Bayview and Sheppard area into a high-density, transit-oriented community.
